QR Code Generator

Generate a QR code for any link, phone number or WhatsApp chat — downloadable as PNG or crisp print-ready SVG. Codes are generated entirely in your browser: nothing is uploaded, there is no watermark, no account, and because the code encodes your actual URL it can never "expire" or be held hostage by a subscription.

QR codes that actually get scanned

Size: at least 2 cm square for a counter card, bigger for posters — the rule of thumb is scanning distance ÷ 10. Contrast: dark modules on a light background; never invert. Quiet zone: leave the white border alone. And always print with a short line saying what the person gets ("Scan to leave us a review") — a naked QR code earns few scans.

Error correction matters when print quality or a logo overlay is involved: higher correction keeps the code scannable when partly obscured or worn, at the cost of a denser pattern. Medium is right for most uses; use High for small print or codes that live outdoors.

A warning about "free" QR services

Many QR generators route your code through their own short link — which means the code stops working if you stop paying, and they track every scan. The codes from this page encode your destination directly. If you want scan tracking, add UTM parameters with our UTM builder first; your analytics then counts scans without any middleman.

Common questions

Do these QR codes expire?

No. The code is just your URL drawn as squares — it works as long as the destination exists. Only QR services that insert their own redirect can expire.

PNG or SVG?

SVG for anything printed (it scales perfectly at any size); PNG for screens, documents and anywhere SVG is awkward.
